Location: IMMA @ NCH, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2

On Saturday 4 May, 11am - 2pm, there will be a gallery session and workshop facilitated by IMMA mediators where we will be looking at how the exhibition I KnOw YoU explores collaborative aspects of contemporary art making. All the artists selected for the exhibition are graduates of the Städelschule Academy in Frankfurt am Main. One of the curators of the exhibition Tobias Rehberger, former student and now professor at the Academy, has turned group and individual collaborations into an art form. He sees the world as a living exhibition that has been temporarily captured in a museum display. The alternative approaches to exploring art make the Stadelshule one of the leading centres for experimental art practice. In our Studio8 workshop we will be encouraging experimental and imaginative collaborations between Studio8 participants, the artworks, the exhibition and the museum.
